Waffle World @ Sunway Pyramid

Waffle World, first of its kind in Malaysia, is unquestionably the place to taste a wide variety of Belgian waffles. From a wide selection of nuts to fruits waffles such as expresso, chocolate, walnut, pecan, almond, banana, strawberry, blueberry and classic Belgian waffles, it is enough to satisfy the most demanding! Other selections include delicious hot dogs, fluffy pancakes, fine coffee and heavenly desserts. ’Truly a place for the best waffles’. yadda yadda yadda.. time for me to try it out.

Sie Khai, Reng Kwan, Esmonde Lim, Mae Ryn, Phaik Joo and I went to Waffle World in Sunway Pyramid. There wasn’t anything special there except for the seats which had holes on them, but they were repaired with duct tape though.. haha..

Phaik Joo had the banana waffle, Sie Khai ate the Chocolate pancake, Mae Ryn chose to have the chocolate pancake instead, I picked the pecan waffle , Reng Kwan selected his walnut (brain shaped nut) photo not available walnut and Esmonde had a crush on this fish fillet thingy..

Personally, I did not think the waffle was great. Mae Ryn’s pancake looks cute though.. haha
I’d prefer the A&W waffles. Are they cheaper?

Monash University Offer Letter + Orientation

Ok fine, I admit that I’m blogging about this solely to have my site displayed at Google’s search engine when someone searches for something about Monash University Sunway Campus.

I’ve been offered to study in Monash University Sunway Campus and I’m dreading though the orientation week now.. (nothing to brag about, but oh well…) Getting in was pretty easy, but I heard that graduating from here is much harder..

Lalalalaa.. orientation week.

Mostly girls you see in the picture? Its only for the business course. If you’re enrolling in the School of IT or School of Engineering, you’ll probably notice that there are only guys and the opposite gender is considered as an endangered species already.

Yes! I was tagged! A19. Crap. They are tagging us here for the library orientation tour..

We had our photos taken to be made into proximity Student ID cards. The system was pretty efficient as it took around 15mins for the whole thing to be processed and we were given a lanyard and this card. However the quality of the card printer was really bad, which made the photo quality, urgh, bad too. They used webcams to take our photos but well, considering that the photo printed was also to be small, the use of a webcam isn’t really a problem. Anyway they should improve the quality of the card printer. This card is to be used to loan books from the library and also provides access to our department. (Touch n’ Go style).

One more thing that I have found unsatisfactory about the Monash policy is that each student is only allowed 1GB of internet access per semester. Usage that exceeds the limit would be charged accordingly ( from the site).

Other than that, Monash is pretty nice.

Resurrection of yltan.com

Ahh finally after many many days, (or weeks), I’m finally bringing this site back to life.

My old blog was totally wiped out by my lovely host, Baithost. Well they assured me that I was going to get my data back and all they need is time. Well time waits for no one and I’m not bringing my blog down for that long. Enough of that, I’ll be starting this blog off with my enrollment in Monash University Sunway Campus.
Mari mari I shall blog about Monash Malaysia since there are so few people here.

As you might have noticed, I’ve done some face lifting on the site. The background is no longer plain grey. I wanted to have this cool/elegant look by having smokes at the side, etc.. Don’t know how well it looks but do send in your feedback here and I’ll look into it and perhaps, your feedback might bring a huge improvement on this site!
The functionality of this blog is being updated from time to time as I do not have the time to script the whole site in a day..
