Garmin Nuvi 1350 Refurbished.For Sale

I have 2 sets of Garmin Nuvi 1350 GPS Navigation System for sale.

They aren’t new, but they look really new. I’ve acquired these refurbished units to use rather than having to fork out much more for a new device.

Anyway if anyone is interested, I’m selling each at RM499. Price is of course, negotiable.

Send in a comment here with your proper email address and I’ll get back to you with a really nice price. I guarantee that.

Package includes: box/gps/suction cup/car charger/manual/warranty card/ dashboard sticker

Warranty : 5days from me, 1 Year from Garmin US.

Dealing method: Postage or COD in Ipoh.

It is possible to arrange for COD in Sunway, but we’ll discuss this.

Photos ! Photos ! Photos! There’s no point telling all these without having a look at the actual device itself!

Seeing is believing.

Photo of the day – Aging phone

Its been a long while since I last took a photo of my phone.

Things age and so does my phone.

It’s pretty sad that Windows Mobile is now a dying platform.

The iOS took over with the best thing I noticed so far (Installous *evil grins*) and now it looks like Android will make a huge impact soon..

We shall see if I’ll get enough spare change to retire this old chap. =)

Restoran Baru Lau Kai Ikan Sungai @ Sauk, Perak

Fancy eating fish balls? If you are somewhere near Sauk, you could give Restoran Baru Lau Kai Ikan Sungai a try.
I was around Lenggong area a couple of days ago and heard of this place which serves fish balls made from the clown knife fish. Gave it a try and turned out pretty well I would say.

First impression on the shop is that it looked cheap and dirty. Upon reaching the shop there would be a slight stench but luckily, the tables, seats and kitchen looked clean.

Anyway here’s the famous clown knife fish balls. Apparently they are only available here but I managed to find ONE shop in Ipoh selling this fish. Of course, the price isn’t the same.

It costs RM5 for 10 balls. They taste really good in terms of texture. Only fish balls made from clown knife fish have the slightly chewy feeling while most of the common fish balls out there are just plain. I don’t know how to describe this, but its good. =)

Here’s the board stated at the shop. I don’t know what it means. I’m a banana ^^.

Click for a larger image if you want =)

A few newspaper clippings on their shop. It was on the Ipoh Echo September edition I think.

Another recommended dish by the various reviews, the salted egg calamari. It looks a bit small here.

Don’t know why. Supposed to come in larger sizes.

It tasted alright, but slightly too salty. Probably I was having it as a snack rather than having it with rice.

If you have a Garmin device loaded with Malfreemaps it is stated in the food POI section. If you don’t,  the shop is located just beside the huge arc at the entrance of Kampung Baru Sauk.

I came here for the balls and I’m satisfied with them. HAHA.

Digging old stuff

Went digging though my hard disk and found this video that I made!

Can’t believe it has been 4 years since I last killed a centipede. HAHA.

Nasty lil’ fella.

Moulting.

My PC is moulting!

Oh yes it is.

It’s currently running without a casing because I simply could not fit the whole case together with my tiny monitor into my traveling bag. It is going to be running the way it is now till my break ends. >.<

I guess I’ll tidy things up but it will definitely run like this.

*Hey, I’m getting an idea of using a small biscuit container to fit all these in. A PC running in a biscuit tin container. Hmm or rather a Hackintosh.*

Securing yourself from Firesheep Facebook Hack

From my previous post, I mentioned about how one could easily gain access into another person’s Facebook account using Firesheep. This only works if the person is on the same network as you.

There’s a way to prevent this if you want, it’s called FireShepherd.

FireShepherd, a small console program that floods the nearby wireless network with packets designed to turn off FireSheep, effectively shutting down nearby FireSheep programs every 0.5 sec or so, making you and the people around you secure from most people using FireSheep.

This program only works on the current FireSheep version so this will not secure you from any hackers or be replaced as a firewall.

Anyway, a VPN connection to your own pc would be the best if you are connecting from an unsecured area.

Get FireShepard here, only for Windows.

Hacking Facebook Passwords.

Hacking with Firesheep.

Alright, sounds cool eh? Hacking passwords of Facebook users, especially your friends accounts, placing ghey porn photos as their profile pictures and messing with their walls. It USED to be harder where you had to sniff out the packets.. But hey! I discovered a Firefox plugin which was released a couple of days ago which claim to be the easiest Facebook hacking tool. Its really simple. Just download the plugin, install it and you’re good to go.

After installing the extension you’ll see a new sidebar. Connect to any busy open wifi network and click the big “Start Capturing” button. Then wait.

As soon as anyone on the network visits an insecure website known to Firesheep, their name and photo will be displayed.

Double-click on someone, and you’re instantly logged in as them.

And that’s it! Time to mess around!

This plugin works for many unsecured websites (as of now) including Twitter, WordPress, etc. Download it and you shall know which one work best.

Firesheep is free!

For Windows users you’ll need to have Winpcap installed before you can get this add on running.

Linux users, too bad, no support for you.

Mac OS X users, rock on!

CitrusPlus @ SS15 Subang Jaya

Groupego had this coupon recently whereby it would cost RM13.90 for a food voucher to dine at CitrusPlus @ SS15 Subang Jaya. The so called original price was twice the amount of the coupon and I thought of giving it a try.

The deal includes a set of  meatball pasta and mushroom pasta, 2 glasses of Ice Lemon tea & 2 scoops of ice cream.

We went over to Citrusplus and presented the coupon. There wasn’t any problems redeeming the voucher as the workers knew about this coupon.

The meatball pasta.

The mushroom pasta.

Initial thoughts were “oh wow, looks quite good” . However, it didn’t really taste the way it looked. The mushroom pasta was actually vegetarian and was quite tasteless according to the person who ate it. I had the meatball pasta and it tasted so-so too. The 2 glasses of iced lemon tea tasted like well, iced lemon tea! Haha.

The ice cream. You have a couple of choices to pick from and I chose the raspberry and coffee flavored ones. Ah, these tasted quite well, probably because it was bought from some store. LOL.

My other friends who did not buy the coupon had these instead

Once again, the cheese baked rice seafood had a so-so *uses hand to simulate the so-so* taste according to Sie Khai while the chicken burger had quite good remarks from Simon which he personally thought that the portion was quite good and acceptable with the price tag.

If I did not buy the coupon from groupego,  I don’t really think this place is worth going as charging RM13.90 for a vegetarian pasta dish would hurt my wallet quite a bit and my stomach would not be happy with it too.

Anyway good stuff from Groupego. This place could have been better.

Defaced.

As some of you might know, my blog was d e f a c e d yesterday.

Though it was partly my server host fault (for not patching the loophole which attacked their servers one by one), they were pretty good by giving me a respond at least once every 2-3hours to inform me about the restoration progress. Anyway, everything is back to normal now. Peace =)

Thanks to Sie Khai who gladly posted it up on Facebook, I guess I had even more visitors yesterday.

NBTD Post

I’ve got nothing to post so here’s something to keep me awake!

Thanks to Simon Tin Hann Pyng for the coffee. Hahaha.
