Free ISIC Student Card @ Monash

There was this booth set up at the foyer of Monash University Sunway Campus today and it was offering FREE registration for the ISIC card (International Student Identity Card). One of the staff approached me and I was like ooo! Ignored her and went for lunch then only I found out that this card is issued free if I were to register today. What was needed is just a passport sized photo and a photostat copy of the student ID card. I know I have an extra photo in my bag somewhere so lets just register! Filled up the form and 2 hours later, my card was ready..

1 year validity.. Actually less than that. It’s till March 2011.

After the whole process was completed, then only I noticed that there was a “banner” placed at the library, and the entrance of the uni..

Yeay, so I was one of the 200 students who obtained the card for free.

So now, what does this card do?

Biggest donut I’ve ever eaten

Guess what. It came in a white little paper bag. I thought there were some sandwiches in it but then when i took a peek inside. Whoaa..

This thing is friggin’ huge! Never had a donut bigger than this before =P..

Seriously this thing is bigger than Philemon’s goddamn Ramly burger..

and it’s messier too.. There’s the raspberry/strawberry or whatever you wanna call it jam inside.

Cost? If I’m not mistaken it’s around RM4. You can get them at Sunway Resort & Hotel ‘s Cafe area..

It’s not really good but heck. Its huge. LOL.

DiGi EDGE Signal Awesomeness

I woke up just morning to find my phone dead. It was still on before I went to bed but looks like it was lazy and went to sleep too. Or rather not. It was spending the whole night SEARCHING for DiGi’s EDGE signal and *probably* after a couple of hours, it got tired then decided to stop searching and take a nap. (it saves battery too).

A quick bootup on the phone shows that there is no service available so ZOMG what’s wrong with the phone. Enabled HSDPA and it worked! . SCEW DIGI SCEW DIGI!! My battery was at ~70% before I went to bed!

Fired up my Firefox web browser and loaded the DiGi customer support and here it is..

Phaik Joo was punk’d. Literally.

Look at her car. Everyday parked at dangerous locations like those corners blabla.. So Reng Kwan and I became the MPSJ for the day and issued her a “summon” for parking illegally.

Only a fine of RM80 though.

Snapped a photo of it and MMS-ed it to Sheryn asking her to show it to Phaik Joo. Although I did not get to see her reaction, I heard that it was awesome and I even got 3 calls from Phaik Joo blabing to me about this. You should have recorded a video lah Sheryn.

Phaik Joo only viewed the MMS after her exam though, if not I believe there would be even more calls coming to my phone. AHHAHAH.

Mei Xin’s Birthday

Urm, so yeah, it was Mei Xin’s birthday last Friday.. so let’s make this colorful.

2. Went over to Snowflakes with the intention of eating there but ended up tapau-ing.

3. Blew candles. Smashed face with cake not too long after. Raged war. Havoc.

DiGi Campus (un)-awesomeness

DiGi has revamped its DiGi Campus plan and now it sucks big time.

There would not be any more UNLIMITED free calls after a usage of RM2 but restricted to only 100 minutes now.
There’s no such thing as FREE SURFING for RM30 per month anymore. It is now RM5 per day which counts out to RM150 per month..
It is no longer exclusive to college/university students. As long as you are 12 -24 years of age, you can get it.
The only thing that remains is the FREE SMS to 11 Friends and Family which is rather, little.

BEST THING IS.. THE CUSTOMERS WERE ONLY NOTIFIED ON THAT DAY ITSELF
