Alright its confirmed.. the fat cow is down with dengue and he’s happily spending the night at Sunway Medical Center (sunway moneymaking center).
I dropped by this morning and he looked pretty normal to me. Perhaps he needs moar love from his 5 wives..

So I’ve been offered a free iPhone to buy an iPhone from DiGi. Just take a look at the price. How old is an iPhone? If I were to get the iPhone I would have already gotten it months ago when the 3GS was launched. Months have passed and well, there might be a new iPhone coming again soon. The price of this shitty iPhone did not drop for like months. Its getting annoyingly common that its becoming like one of those legendary Nokia 3310 where most people use to have. Urgh.
Anyway, anybody wants to buy the iPhone?
The RM1 chicken from Dragon-i is back for the 3rd consecutive year.. I THINK. Maybe two. This is their so called carrot to attract you to this place and end up ordering other stuff. Guess what? I fell for it! hahahhahaa..
As you can see, the bill says it all. It was supposed to be 1 chicken + 4 bowls of rice and maybe 1 extra dish but it ended up like this! Make that bill two because there was another table which fitted Phaik Joo, Sheryl , Sheryn and Mei Xin . My table had Sie Khai, Reng Kwan , Enoch and who else.. me. I’m not going to say much about this place because the service was terrible (the food and drinks were just placed at the side of the table, not to the proper person), the workers have attitude problems and the best thing is, they would return the wrong change. I’d be glad if they had given more, but LESS? NO WAY. Query them in a polite manner, and what you’ll get is a cold stare from them mocking you about the small change that they have pocketed. I’ve personally completed the customer feedback form filling up all the lines provided and even the extra spaces pointing out to them how good my experience was at this lovely restaurant. Let’s see whether will my feedback form be read and any actions would be taken. Meanwhile, have a look at the food we ordered. =)

The school of IT had this Staff-student thingy for some thingy. What caught my attention was the free food provided after the event anyway… so here it is =)
Getting quite bored of these dishes already. Seems to be the same already or have I been going to that many free food events that they do not have other varieties to serve?
They had this tomato rice + pasta which were pretty much tasteless hahaha.. Then there was this rendang chicken I think or something else I can’t really recall the name and the fried chicken. Those were better but anyway no matter how bad or good it tasted, this was going to be my dinner and I had to get myself full =D. The popiah was soggy too. Urgh. Standard have indeed plunged. badly.
Even so, I still did have a second helping with the food.. There were extra anyway, so no fighting for food. Pardon my messy plate though.. the plate provided simply wasn’t big enough to hold my fooooood.
At this point of time, which is already 2 a.m. I’m already getting hungry again. Looks like 2 plates were not enough..
Burger oh burgers… went over to Carl’s Jr with the burger experts Philemon Lim and Sung Jin for lunch and I found out that there were so much to burgers than just burgers. Being extremely frequent customers at Carl’s Jr. , they could even discuss with the branch manager about the SALSA sauce that was served.. ==’ . Both of them with the tagline “Even we have no money, we would get ourselves to Carl’s Jr. once a week” . They went on comparing McD fries with Carl’s Jr fries all the way to Ramly burgers and so on..
The evil smile on every cup served.
Our orders lined up ready to served. As usual, mine was the one with the lowest pricetag =D .
Orders came not too long after and the crunch fest began. No cameras allowed.

I finally paired my mouse with a mouse-mat. It was showing signs of fatigue and there is a need to get the mat already. Then there came this wonderful offer from this guy who wanted to sell his mat that was a prize given to him at this really cheap price. I grabbed it immediately and oh golly this mat is huge! But not as huge as what Leonard says ” Razer mats are so huge you could even do yoga on them!” . It was much bigger than my previous free USM plastic mouse-pad though. This baby glides~

Things have been getting messy recently. My domain is about to expire and recently my cheapo hosting provider kept failing. If I’m not mistaken, throughout the duration of my blog hosted on that provider, it went down around 3 times due to RAM failure and many many more times due to other reasons like DDOS and ridiculous reasons like user overusing the account. Anyway, I finally managed to sort out the server issue and I’m now hosted on a much more reliable server, I hope.. or else my blog is pretty much jinxed to be able to crash whatever server it is hosted on. Next is to look for a cheap domain renewal service. Arghh.
Enough of this and lets move on to food~ ahh…

Then there were these huge juicy prawns~ I’ll mention about Sie Khai here again, he eats prawns like nobodies business… The guy doesn’t leave that prawn alone as he scrapes the brains out and gobbles it down too. What’s left is just the shell. Urgh..
Sadly my stomach capacity reached the limit a little sooner than I thought and that’s the end of the steamboat. Next!

Behold the Google Nexus One. Pretty rare here in Malaysia, well for me its rare because this was the first time getting hands on with it.. the Google phone.. and it goes *waaa* well not as *WAAA* as the iPhone when it was smuggled in to Malaysia from US. Some didn’t even know what Nexus One is. Anyway, here it is. Thanks Zen for letting me molest his phone.
The screen was impressive. Colors were vibrant with its AMOLED screen.. Interface wise.. not up to what I thought it would be since it has the 1ghz processor in it. iPhone still kicks arse in this area.
Moving on would be this green color thing I found at every junction in my housing area. Its printed there Telecommunications but could it be the upcoming Tmnut’s HSBB (High Speed Broadband) which is supposed to bring a much better local surfing experience while still maintaining or degrading the already turtle speed international pipeline we have. It looks slightly like the one posted here but without the TM logo..
We shall wait and see..

Another freebie day with 100Plus isotonic drink crew distributing, well of course, free 100plus-es. Well, there’s no such thing as free right? Here’s the catch. You’ll have to enable bluetooth on your phone and play the puzzle to so called participate in the contest. Whoever completes the puzzle the fastest gets to win movie tickets, iphones.. blablabla.. Those who just wanted to get the free 100plus just had to install and play the puzzle but didn’t have to complete the game. Anyway, I managed to get my 100plus without playing the puzzle because my windows mobile phone was simply too stone aged to be able to play java games. Installed it and it didn’t run properly.
Sie Khai with his 100 plus and a week’s membership from Fitness First gym. Those promoters looked like they needed a gym workout too.. lols.
Sadly the drink failed to keep Sie Khai energized as he was spotted taking his nap on the new bean bags placed at the library. Gotcha!

AP Ayam Penyet Ipoh has finally landed in Ipoh. I remember snapping some photos about Ayam Penyet in Sunway Pyramid but somehow I’ve misplaced the photos..
Here’s the one in Ipoh. There wasn’t any customers in this branch though.. pity pity.. I wonder how long will this shop last. There’s the Pappa Rich Ipoh located next to it too. I’ve yet to try that out yet but I heard that the service is really bad compared to the other branches in KL.
