Yeay, so I was one of the 200 students who obtained the card for free.

So now, what does this card do?

Nevertheless, I still managed to get free food but this time it was for the IT students. So called the student-teacher get-together time. Haha..

Ah yes, it was all you can eat style =).

What was served? Fried beehoon, roti jala, sambal, curry chicken, some kuih, cream puffs and orange juice.

Was it the same food served, Esmonde? Leftover perhaps? haha..

Argh, I still can’t use the camera well yet.

The Campbell’s soup truck came to Monash today to hand out free cups filled with soups! hahaha.. I’m feeling all sweaty and here they are giving free hot mushroom soup. Well they were kind enough to allow us to choose whichever flavor we wanted and I had my free sample of Campbell Wild Mushroom Soup. I brought it to class though.. *slurrp*

Last Friday, Reng Kwan, Sie Khai and I went over to Pyramid to watch G. I Joe.. hahaha. Anyway, during the show suddenly I received a call from Chin Yee saying that its Chin Hong’s birthday today and there’s a party going on..  I was like, uh.. I’m in the movies now.. *thinks for a while*  Okay , 7.30pm wait outside Jaafar. So we went…

Ah! The food. Domino’s pizza and the cake. LOL. Sie Khai, Reng Kwan and I came without bringing any food because we were only informed at 6pm. Chin Yee! Youla din tell me earlier!

The F&N Fruit Tree crew were handing out free cans of fruit juices today.. *slurp*

Okay so there was this stall set up right outside the library today and they were handing out free drinks to students.  F&N Fruit Tree fruit juice.

There was the mango juice, blackcurrant juice, apple juice and quite a few more which I did not notice. Anyway, when I was there, they were handing out the blackcurrant juice and so I had that. Ahh, what a nice way to start my class. FREE juice. haha.

I text-ed Reng Kwan and Esmonde to inform them about this and Esmonde replied me saying that he would rather drink plain water.

Well no doubt the juice was a tad too sweet for me again.. and because of that, I only took 1 can of this juice. Unlike Jepah, he drank a few cans. Urgh..

So, did any of you had the free drink?

Today’s talk was about mental health and oh gosh it was a very boring talk I had attended throughout the whole week. In fact to me this was the only talk that was boring. Coincidentally, it was also the longest talk , lasting 1 hour 5mins.
Anyway since its the last day, I should grab more food right?

Nah, I couldn’t get 2 helpings. The food supply was rather limited today. *haih* . Somehow, I still managed to grab as much as my thin Styrofoam plate could handle.

The food today served were:

Fried rice, but this time with some chillies added into it + chicken+ fish fillets/nuggets+coleslaw+chocolate cake with a bit of cheese at the middle.

A closer look =P. I still managed to make my stomach happy even though I did not get a second helping =)

Since today the talk was about mental health blabla they’ve decided to swap the Sunway Lagoon 25% discount voucher to the Pathlab voucher. Sie Khai who rushed all the way from Rock Cafe with the intention of getting the Sunway Lagoon Voucher was rather disappointed, or would you like to buy the voucher from me , Sie Khai ? *grins*

Oh ya, if you remember, I mentioned about getting these roller coaster chips in my previous post. Today I managed to grab more! More than a week of supply if I were to eat one packet every day. Photo is blurred because my table is simply too messy!!

This time there were more people since the talk was about personal safety by the Malaysian Police and also because it was held at the Auditorium 1. Anyway I didn’t really care about the number of people who attended but as long there is enough food for me, I’m happy =)

The theme for today was Nasi Lemak. The food differs everyday and today’s food was much better than yesterday’s because it wasn’t THAT salty !

We had the usual nasi lemak stuff, (egg, sambal, fattening rice ) + chicken.. I forgot what chicken was it already and vegetables! *nyam nyam* + jemput pisang (thanks to Reng Kwan for telling me the name)

Its been a few years since I last ate this thing and I gobbled down more than 8 of these. Actually since I left secondary school.

That wasn’t enough! Since I walked to school that morning because it was raining, I had to top-up my stomach with more food and I had a second helping and this time I chose to have the vegetarian meal. Alwin Loo had a box too. =)

There were “chicken meat” “fish meat” and vegetables inside together with the fattening rice.

As usual we were presented with the 25% discount coupon for Sunway Lagoon theme park again..
I’m gonna sell these coupons off. Anyone interested?

Hahah I have nothing much to say about this but the dogs were really obedient.

Not to forget, a voucher to Sunway Lagoon Theme Park and also unlimited number of Jack & Jill Roller Coaster Thai Mango Kerabu Flavor. I only took 3 packets though.

The Monash University Sunway Campus is having a Occupational, Health & Safety Week and there would be a different talk held everyday throughout the week.  On Monday, the talk was about Road Safety.

The talk described more on the attitude of Malaysian drivers, the importance of fastening safety belts as a car crash at a speed of 60km/h without safety belts is enough to kill you already.

One of the questions raised was , why the malaysian police do not need to wear safety belts (even though they catch people who do not wear seatbelts) whenever they are on patrol with their cars?  They are placing their lives at risk too.

Another one was why are Kancil’s being used during driving tests even though majority of the people would drive larger cars once they passed the test.
