Ikea Meatballs
You love Ikea, I love Ikea and I think everyone loves Ikea for their minimalist design furniture, accessories and also the food at their restaurant. Finally I had the chance to try the so called delicious Ikea Meatballs.I heard many good comments about it especially from Phaik Joo.
Tagged as the authentic Swedish meatballs, served with some unknown sauce and lingonberry sauce, I just had to get a bite of it.
Oh yea, it comes with chips too~ =)
Here it is, the Ikea Swedish Meatballs.
Hmm.. yummy yummy. The meat was just nice. Probably I like the texture of beef, a bit chewy. Having them with the brown sauce thingy and the a little bit of sweetness from the lingonberry sauce makes it a wonderful experience.
However, meatballs for lunch just isn’t enough so I had the herb chicken thingy too..
The flavor for the chicken was not as good as the meat balls. Maybe its because of the gravy that was more on the lighter side. What do I mean by lighter? Less taste, purer. Emphasizing on the herb smell while retaining the chicken flavor. I can’t remember how much I paid for this dish but it ain’t cheap.
For the meatballs priced of RM 1 each, I can’t possibly have this often.
The cost of 5 meat balls would already be equivalent to my usual chap fan already. ^^
