The new train from KTM
Finally the so called fastest electric train to be ever used in Malaysia has arrived and it was up for display on the 15th and 16th of December in KL and Ipoh train station.
This “fast” train runs at a maximum speed of 140km/h (wow fast! )(sarcasm mode). Passengers like me would now be able to get back to Ipoh from KL in around 2 hours instead of the old train which runs on diesel, 3 hours.
The new train is supposed to be equipped with 3 pin electric socket outlets but when I was there, no sockets were to be seen. Handrests were no longer available to separate the seats. Anyway, I didn’t notice anything new in the train except for the upgraded toilet and improved door system. Otherwise, its looks, feels, and is it the same? LOL.
The train has arrived but will only be operational in March. I wonder what’s holding them back. and, what would the ticket price be?

Lolx 140km/h not really dat faz wad… n i think the ticket price sure will slaughter de
