Panasonic Lumix Workshop

About a week ago Panasonic Malaysia organized a workshop for its Lumix camera users and it was through their Facebook Fan page where the event was publicized. Each participant is charged RM50 and with it comes a Panasonic eco-bag , a ultra slow Class 2 4GB Panasonic SDHC card,  a RM20 Panasonic online voucher and a few tea breaks + lunch. Well, of course, someone to “teach” us how to take photographs better. I didn’t really find the “tutor” for this workshop useful as most of the stuff explained were pretty much basic stuff. Nevertheless, this was also another way for Panasonic to promote their micro four thirds camera range and also the lx-3.  So, got my hands itchy and forked out RM50 for this. I went with Reng Kwan as only both of us have a Lumix camera.

We were taken to the Butterfly park to have our photoshooting session with the butterflies as well as the “other” butterflies which were the winners of the Panasonic Model search or whatever its called. ngek ngek ngek.. Managed to take photo with 2 out of 3 of them but the photos are not with me currently =( .

Click on the thumbnails to have a better look at the photos I took with my FZ-18. Although I was provided with the Panasonic GH-1 to shoot with, I wasn’t used to it and opted to use my old faithful most of the time =).

We were then treated for lunch at Bangsar Seafood Village.. well we paid for it already.

Ahh and yes that’s me with the GH-1 =)
