Android 1.6 on Xperia X1
Hmm.. finally I have Android 1.6 running on my xperia x1. Thanks to the guys at xda forums.. Though its not complete yet, with the screen orientation messed up, no vibration, no sound but phone calls and sms seem to work. Gave it a try since it requires only a 80MB+ download. Practically, it is not able to do anything.. Currently it can be considered as a preview to what android offers as I cant even turn the screen off. But stuff like wifi and 3g does work. The stuff displayed on android sure does look and runs smoother compared to windows mobile.

wao what a combination xperia x1 and android, from first pic interface i cant hold my self to comment on this post. Graphics are amazing and Xperia is my all time favorite so its time to switch on Sony.

android is open source. =) . Customizable.
iphone and android , speed? hmm.. mine definately runs slower than an iphone because of the heavy WVGA graphics rendering by the processor compared to ~qvga of the iphone. However it seemed to be faster than windows.haha. On other devices, i believe the android is as smooth as the iphone.
hmm.. as smooth ahh.. wad abt an iphone equivalent processor? which runs faster? hehe, paiseh. diden noe its open source xD

if im not mistaken iphone runs at 600mhz+/- well if given a 320×480 screen.. it shud run as fast as iphone. I can’t give a definite answer as I do not have both the iphone as well as an android phone

It seems easier to type in this way nowadays..getting used to this way of typing. Yup, all three iPhones have this screen.

rojaks can be installed on the iPhone but you’ll have to jailbreak it first..
