Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert Secrets @ SS15, Subang Jaya

Armed with nothing but a 1/2 empty stomach and Sie Khai’s Sony Cybershot T-30 camera, the whole bunch of mufy people(almost) met up at Snowflake Taiwanese Dessert Secrets at SS15, Subang Jaya.. The objective was to kepoh about each other and also to try out the dessert at this place.

The ordering style was albeit unique where you are given a disc like thing after payment and you’ll have to wait for it to buzz/vibrate before going over to the counter to collect the dessert.

I ordered the so called best seller item available there. Personally I think it is just a gimmick and perhaps by stating it as the best seller, more people would order it . When there are more orders, they could stock up more on the ingredients with a cheaper price then still selling it at the same price and finally, gain a higher profit.

The dessert was not up to my liking as the chewy orange and white stuff are supposed to be sweet potato and something else tasted funny. Smells awful.  The black stuff you see on the picture is just a 1/2-1cm layer of grass jelly and below it, is just plain shaved ice. Price? I can’t remember, someone please update me on this.

And they had this yau char kwai with soya bean milk. Haha I don’t know how it tasted. Sie Khai ordered it.

The yucky stuff.

I guess that’s all about this place. =)

A good place to visit if you would like to have something chewy in your mouth that gives out a weird taste and smell.
