Super Noodle House @ Sungei Wang Plaza
The name says it all! Its Super. Super Noodle House at Sungei Wang Plaza. I guess from the name its supposed to be famous for serving good noodles? Headed over there to have my lunch with Sie Khai and did not have any noodles there. Haha.
Instead, we ordered birds with rice. No not chicken, but duck and goose with rice, of course. Sie Khai said they tasted great and told me to get it too. I ordered it simply because it was among the cheapest dish that I could afford there. It was the other way for Sie Khai. He ordered a plate of goose rice, some ginseng soup , fried carrot cake and a ginseng white fungus drink. I ordered just the duck rice and a cup of Chinese tea. =)
The duck rice costs RM7.50 and the goose rice, RM12.50

So, what’s the difference between a duck and a goose?
A goose has a longer neck than a duck. The males and females have the same coloration and markings; male and female ducks of the same species are different. Geese are grazers on land,mostly, and ducks almost exclusives feed in the water.
Olah! Here’s my duck rice
It was served first. Then came the goose.
From my obsevation, the duck had more fat than the goose, which I prefer because I do not like to have my duck dry. The duck somewhat looked more juicy and had more meat? I don’t know. The main thing is, duck costs much cheaper.
The rice wasn’t too dry, I guess they added something into it because it had a slightly fragrant smell. Mind you, i said slightly not a lot.
Then came the fried carrot cake. I think its called radish cake but it was tagged as carrot. I know they belong to the same family but why call it carrot?
Looks awesome. Tasted great too.
Sie Khai’s a happy man after satisfying his hunger.
I did not snap photos of the soup and the drink. The container used didn’t pass my standards. It was really dirty looking with crack lines and all.. Hahaha hope Sie Khai does not bomb me for saying this. I did not have any photos with me in it too. All because of Sie Khai who hasn’t bought his camera YET. If you’d like more photos from Sie Khai’s K810i Cybershot phone, simply get them from his facebook.
Overall, the food was pretty nice. I spent RM9.50+ while Sie Khai spent RM 37 + ( notice the vast difference )
